The Best Day with Mom

A good day for mom is when…

1. Children obey! (v. 20-21)
   1. Deuteronomy 21:18-21
   2. Proverbs 30:17
   3. Children are to obey and honor parents
   4. Train, discipline, do NOT provoke
2. Their purpose is fulfilled (v. 22-4:1)
   1. Proverbs 31:28-31
   2. Deuteronomy 6:4-9
3. Prayers are offered and answered (v. 4:2-4)
   1. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-22
   2. Continuously, with praise, with specifics, and don’t quench the Spirit
4. Words are kind and productive (v. 4:5-6)
   1. Tame the Tongue – James 3:7-9

When you and your mother receive your reward, it will be a GREAT day!
