Beginning June 4, 2018
Faith Training is what we call small Sunday morning groups meeting for the purpose of helping people to grow in their Christian faith.
These classes are offered for adults on Sunday mornings at KCC. Each class runs for about 45 minutes. There are also classes for all ages of children at the same time. The coffee is hot in the lobby. If the class uses a book, you can pick up a copy in the KCC lobby bookstore! Join us each week for one of the following:
The 5 Love Languages
Based on the book of the same name by Gary Chapman, The 5 Love Languages.
Between busy schedules and long days, expressing love can fall by the wayside. We forget to compliment, to give gifts “just because,” to linger in our embrace. The things that say “I love you” seem to either not get said or not get through. This is a book about saying it—and hearing it—clearly. No gimmicks. No psychoanalyzing. Just learning to express love in your spouse’s language.
Join this group on Sunday mornings in the Green Room lead by Vince & Emily Paulus.
Suddenly found yourself alone as a widow? You are NOT alone. Join us for discussions about your new life moving forward. We’ll answer questions like: “How do I get through the holidays? How do I move on? How do I keep it all together when life around me has fallen apart? This women’s group is meeting in the Conference Room adjacent to the main lobby with Cheri Cavanaugh.
Does the Bible intimidate you? Do you have questions when you try to study it? In this group, you will get a grasp of your Bible and understand its story and application to your life!
Leap of Faith
Class for High School Graduates and under 30 led by Tony and Kellie Makinson in Room #4 right next to the elevator. Currently using Max Lucado’s book “Anxious for Nothing-finding calm in a chaotic world”
Anxiety is at an all-time high, but there’s a prescription for dealing with it. Max Lucado invites readers into a study of Philippians 4:6-7 where the Apostle Paul admonishes the followers of Christ, “Do not be anxious about anything…”
