An unannounced love offering taken up Sunday morning at KCC exceeded the amount needed to send Nathan & Cassie Cummings to the Dominican Republic with Casas Por Cristo (Houses for Christ)! $2,2683.10 was given towards the couples mission costs.
Cassie writes on her Facebook page:
“Thanks to the generous support from the members at Kalkaska Church of Christ we are now [un]officially fully funded for our missions trip to the DR with Casas Por Cristo! (Unofficially because the checks are still in the mail so it doesn’t show up on our page as fully funded yet!) We cannot thank all of you enough for your support and prayers during this time. $5,500 was no small amount, but nothing is too big of a feat for God. We raised all that we needed and more in just 10 days!!! Thank you thank you thank you!”
Nathan and Cassie met during their first build with Casas Por Cristo 4 years ago on a spring break trip with Ferris State University. They have gone 2 more times since then, and now they have decided to intern with CPC this summer in their Dominican Republic location!
